About The Position

Brello Health is seeking a world-class Paid Performance Creative Director — a rare blend of visionary creative leader and hardcore data-driven performance marketer. This is not a traditional creative director role. You will own the full creative pipeline for paid media at scale: from ideation and art direction to production oversight, content distribution, and AI-accelerated iteration. You will be the driving force behind creative strategy across every major paid channel, ensuring that every dollar of media spend is backed by high-converting, platform-native content. You have managed large budgets, you know what makes a Meta ad stop the scroll, you understand the Andromeda algorithm, you can spot a winning YouTube hook in three seconds, and you treat creative as a growth lever — not just a brand exercise.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in performance creative, paid media creative strategy, or a hybrid creative/growth role
  • Demonstrated track record managing $5M+ in annual paid media spend with measurable creative impact on ROAS/CAC
  • Deep platform expertise across Meta (including Andromeda mechanics), YouTube, YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Pinterest, CTV/OTT, and linear TV
  • Hands-on experience with creative analytics tools (Meta Ads Manager, YouTube Studio, TikTok Ads Manager, Triple Whale, Northbeam, or similar)
  • Strong art direction portfolio with examples spanning video, static, UGC-style, and motion creative
  • Experience building and leading creative teams — including managing external agencies and production vendors.
  • Proven, demonstrable use of AI tools in a professional creative workflow (portfolio examples or case studies required)
  • Ability to move fast without sacrificing quality — comfortable in a high-velocity, test-and-learn environment
  • Exceptional communication skills — able to present creative rationale and performance insights to C-suite stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DTC, e-commerce, fintech, or subscription-based growth marketing environments
  • Familiarity with programmatic creative and dynamic creative optimization (DCO) platforms
  • Background in or exposure to influencer marketing and UGC content strategy at scale
  • Hands-on video editing or motion design skills (even if you now direct rather than execute)
  • Experience with TV ad production — from concept through broadcast delivery
  • Knowledge of creative localization for international markets

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end creative strategy for all paid performance channels, setting the vision for messaging, visuals, format, and tone
  • Provide hands-on art direction for video, static, and motion creative — guiding internal teams and external agencies/freelancers
  • Own the creative brief process: translating performance data and audience insights into actionable creative direction
  • Define platform-specific creative standards and maintain a living playbook for every channel
  • Partner with brand, product, and growth teams to ensure creative is both on-brand and conversion-optimized
  • Use data to drive every creative decision — deeply fluent in creative analytics (VTR, CTR, CVR, ROAS, hook rate, hold rate)
  • Design and run structured creative testing frameworks (A/B, multivariate) to validate hypotheses and scale winners fast
  • Collaborate with media buyers to understand creative performance at the ad set and audience level
  • Identify creative fatigue signals early and maintain a healthy pipeline of fresh creative to prevent performance decay
  • Build reporting dashboards and present creative performance insights into executive leadership
  • Lead and grow a high-performance creative team including videographers, editors, designers, copywriters, and motion artists
  • Manage relationships with production houses, UGC agencies, influencer networks, and creative freelancers
  • Set and manage creative production budgets, timelines, and workflows without sacrificing quality or speed
  • Establish feedback loops between creative, media, and analytics teams to accelerate learning velocity
  • Actively use AI tools to accelerate creative production, ideation, and iteration — this is a mandatory requirement, not a nice-to-have
  • Proven experience with tools such as: Runway, Midjourney, ElevenLabs, Sora, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Kling, or equivalent
  • Use AI for script generation, storyboarding, asset variation, voiceover, translation/localization, and creative testing at scale
  • Stay ahead of emerging AI creative tools and evaluate them for adoption into the production workflow
  • Develop internal AI usage standards and train team members to use AI tools responsibly and effectively

Benefits

  • Full benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k) with company match, PTO, Flex days, holidays, and more!
