Requirements

  • 3-4 years minimum experience in at least two of the following paid channels: Google, Facebook, Amazon, TikTok or affiliate marketing. Must be able to demonstrate an advanced understanding of managing these channels during the interview process.
  • BA/BSc in Marketing or related field
  • Proven ability to focus on the day-to-day but also the big picture.
  • Self-starter with the ability to self-teach if necessary.
  • Proficiency with analytic tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain excellent colleague and client relationships.

Nice To Haves

  • Ecommerce experience is a plus. Agency experience is also a plus
  • Experience in management is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop paid marketing at Snow Commerce with the goal of increasing revenue from paid channels such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, TikTok, affiliate marketing and other channels as assigned.
  • Drive the vision for the paid marketing team and develop/update internal processes, including planning, budget management, QA, measurement and analysis in a way that is efficient with resources and effective at driving revenue.
  • Develop strategies, implement and optimize paid campaigns on channels such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, TikTok, affiliate marketing, retargeting and other channels as needed.
  • Manage paid marketing budgets using Snow Commerce’s proprietary budget management platform to ensure all campaigns meet their budget and performance targets. Perform budget reconciliation as needed to ensure client budgets stay on target.
  • Determine the most effective marketing mix to drive the most revenue for each client.
  • Ensures proper conversion tracking is set for clients and works with the UX team on any necessary fixes.
  • Develops incremental budget recommendations using historical data or trend analysis, complete with expected results and a pitch to clients.
  • Monitor analytics and produce insightful monthly and ad hoc reports as needed. The Paid Marketing Manager will also be responsible for presenting these reports to clients while also fielding questions about the results. These reports should include data, but are mostly insights and strategic recommendations that are delivered with polish
  • Leverage data from multiple data sources, including ad platforms, Google Analytics, Shopify, and third-party platforms as needed to understand the customer journey and make strategic recommendations for constant improvement.
  • Develop a/b testing plans.
  • Advise the Snow Commerce design team to produce quality ad creative. Write ad copy and produce simple creative images and videos as needed. Works with internal and client teams on approvals as needed.
  • Lead, train, coach and manage a team of paid marketing strategists. Ensure effective training and task delegation that develop their skill set while ensuring the work is completed and delivered on time.
  • Manage organic marketing programs as needed once trained to do so.
  • Work closely with teammates and clients, establishing strong communication practices. The ideal candidate does not wait to be told what to do.
