Requirements

Excitement for outdoor summer recreation. Experience in paddling kayaks, paddleboards, canoes or sailing is highly desirable.
Strong background in customer service.
Experience in staff management
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be willing to work on weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous employment in the outdoor industry and current CPR and basic First Aid certification is highly desirable.
Teaching or coaching sports experience is highly desirable, with additional experience working with children as a plus.
Multilingual skills are desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervise the day-to-day operation of the canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rental center
Support water activities, including assisting in the rental process at the desk and on the dock, preparing equipment for lessons and tours, and ensuring operational rental equipment.
Possibility to teach paddle lessons in kayaks, canoes or paddleboards and lead groups based on skill and experience. Training may be provided.
Provide excellent customer service to our diverse clientele and work independently with shifts that may not overlap with the Manager.
