About The Position

Superlanet is seeking a PACS Informatics Analyst to join our client in Texas' Clinical Applications Team. This role is responsible for managing clinical imaging systems, modality connectivity, and providing day\-to\-day support for end\-users of various radiology imaging systems. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting assessments of imaging environments, implementing system changes, and ensuring data integrity through appropriate software and hardware solutions. This is a direct hire opportunity that requires onsite work.

Requirements

Bachelorâs degree in health, science, business, or a related field.
2-3 years of professional experience in the imaging field (healthcare vendor, hospital Radiology, or Cardiology department).
Ideally, 5-7 years of experience in application analysis, implementation, and support within a hospital setting.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification/License.
Basic knowledge of system configuration, network protocols, and system resource monitoring.
Experience with Nuance PowerScribe One.
Experience with Epic EHR

Nice To Haves

ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and merge outside exams for consult studies requested by physicians.
Support clinical staff with electronic sending/receiving of DICOM images from other facilities.
Identify and resolve issues preventing storage or image upload on PACS.
Conduct routine hardware and software audits to ensure compliance with established policies and configuration guidelines.
Interface with vendors for procurement and maintenance of PACS infrastructure.
Install and set up workstation hardware for physicians and clinical staff.
Notify, plan, and coordinate installations with vendors for new modality connections and changes to storage locations.
Conduct evaluations and checks to ensure systems are optimally configured to meet regulatory and security requirements.
