About The Position

Clinical Informatics Analyst Department: Information Services Location: Harrisonville, Missouri Are you passionate about improving patient care through technology? This role leads nursing informatics initiatives, including assessment, planning, implementation, training, evaluation, and ongoing system optimization. It will work closely with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure technology solutions align with best practices, regulatory standards, and quality improvement goals. Requirements

  • Clinical degree required- RN, BSN, LPN in a patient-facing role
  • Experience working with an EHR system (Meditech Expanse experience preferred)
  • Experience with EHR build, configuration, testing, and optimization
  • Knowledge of nursing practice, regulatory/accrediting standards, and quality improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across disciplines
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership and commitment to professional practice

Nice To Haves

  • Meditech Expanse experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and improve clinical workflows and technology utilization
  • Lead and support system implementation and optimization projects
  • Collaborate with department leaders, physicians, project teams, and IT analyst team
  • Contribute to evidence-based practice and quality improvement initiatives
  • Assess and improve clinical workflows and processes related to technology
  • Coordinate end-user training and provide ongoing clinical support
  • Evaluate outcomes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
  • Provide a strong nursing perspective in technology integration
