Requirements

• The work requires stooping, bending, and lifting.
• Significant time is spent working with computer terminals.
• There is occasional exposure to infected or ill patients.

Responsibilities

• Performing various reception, clerical, scheduling, and minor billing functions of the Medical Imaging Department.
• Filling, mailing, and computer entry.
• Independently performs multiple computer functions including, but not limited to, image retrieval, patient results retrieval, faxing, and tracking files in the RIS system as well as procedure order entry.
• Interactions with patients, fellow workers, physicians, visitors and others.
• Works with all segments of patient populations, including infants, children, adult, and geriatric patients.
