Position Summary: The Packing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the end-of-line packing operations to ensure that donuts are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment in compliance with company quality standards and food safety regulations. This role leads and supports a team of packers to meet production and shipping schedules in a clean, organized, and fast-paced environment. Shifts: Midshift 11-9pm

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing or packaging; bakery or donut experience is a plus.
  • 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a packing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations, GMPs, and quality standards.
  • Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills for production tracking, label printing, and documentation.
  • Bilingual Required (English/Spanish)
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in a temperature-controlled food manufacturing environment (may include hot or cold areas).
  • Use of PPE (hairnets, gloves, aprons, etc.) required.

Nice To Haves

  • bakery or donut experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all packing activities to ensure donuts are packaged correctly, consistently, and efficiently according to customer and internal specifications.
  • Assign tasks and monitor team performance to meet daily packing targets and minimize product waste.
  • Ensure accuracy of labeling, date coding, packaging materials, and case counts.
  • Monitor packaging line equipment and coordinate with maintenance if issues arise.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety programs, including GMPs, allergen control, HACCP, and sanitation protocols.
  • Work closely with production, QA, warehouse, and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Train and coach packing staff on best practices, safety protocols, and quality control procedures.
  • Conduct regular line checks for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Maintain packing records, production paperwork, and traceability documentation.
  • Promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment on the packing floor.
