About The Position

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Packaging and Shipping Specialist at CMOP Tucson AZ . Join our team as a civilian Packaging and Shipping Specialist and give back to our military community and their families. Qualifications: Have three (3) years experience doing work of a similar nature. Be able to be cross trained to cover other assigned areas, as needed. Have a high school diploma or GED. Core Duties: Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content Selection of appropriate type and size of container Inserting enclosures in container Using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage Closing and sealing container Applying labels or entering identifying data on container Operates various types of packaging equipment Must be able to read computer screens and use scanning equipment Must be able to respond to alarms and alerts Maintain work area in clean and orderly manner Supervisory tasks include day to day administration of assigned operational area (production floor) and to coordinate activities with other productions areas. Orient new contract technicians and assist with the evaluating performance. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 2 shifts available 6:00 am - 2:30 pm 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Company Overview: Spectrum Healthcare Resources (SHR) was established in 1988 to deliver systems and processes designed to meet the unique needs of Military and VA Health Systems. Requirements
