About The Position

The packer & shipper plays a crucial role in our shipping department ensuring the efficient and accurate fulfillment of customer orders. The role requires attention to detail to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction through timely and accurate deliveries. Working closely with warehouse and logistics teams, the Picker/Packer helps maintain smooth operations and supports overall supply chain efficiency. Ultimately, this position contributes directly to the company’s reputation for reliability and quality service.

Requirements

• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret travelers or pick lists
• Basic math skills for counting and verifying quantities
• Physical ability to stand, lift and move items up to 50 lbs
• Reliable showing up to work
• Previous experience in warehousing or packing shipping logistics 6+ months
• Customer Communications
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently as well as on a team

Responsibilities

• Accurately pack and count parts according to order sheets or electronic systems.
• Inspect products for quality and ensure correct quantities are selected.
• Pack items securely using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
• Label packages clearly and prepare them for shipment or delivery.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to manage stock levels and report discrepancies.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to warehouse operations.

• Track materials sent to vendors and subcontractors
