About The Position

Folds and packs evacuation slides into compartments. Assembles and completes paperwork according to parts and part numbers. Verifies BOM’s to parts received from stockroom. Conducts functional tests on all units to ensure quality standards are met including all preparatory work. Follows detailed packing instructions from packing manuals to completing functional tests and packing operations. Completes air retention tests and accompanying quality assurance paperwork. Inspects units for defects and repairs through appropriate procedures. Prepares units for final packing by weighing, recording the weight in computer program, and stenciling units. Completes all final pack operations including final

Requirements

Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
