• Currently enrolled at an accredited institution, working towards a Bachelor’s degree with a focus in engineering packaging or similar related field
• Ideal fields of study include Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Packaging, Plastics Engineering, Quality Engineering

Responsibilities

• Assist in development of packaging designs, materials, and processes.
• Create Product Specifications to document key product design information utilized by customers, manufacturing, and suppliers.
• Asses recent developments in sustainable materials and market requirements for flexible packaging.
• Evaluate our current flexible packaging test methods and identify improvements to lower cost and/or improve quality.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., engineering, manufacturing, marketing) to ensure specifications meet all necessary requirements.
• Implement improvement ideas generated by process improvement system.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute innovative ideas.
