Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Packaging Associate (D Shift: Thursday to Saturday, every other Wednesday from 5:45 pm to 6:00 am) is responsible for all functions in the cocoa packaging process while adhering to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Desirable computer experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
- Experience driving a forklift.
- Able to multitask and work independently.
- Team player with good communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Certified forklift operator.
Responsibilities
- Monitors the automatic metal detector.
- Manual recordkeeping of all Finished Goods leaving the production area.
- Feeds Packing material to the packaging line.
- Quality control of bag weight and bag sealing.
- 1st level troubleshooting of bag weight and bag sealing.
- Keep work area clean.
- Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP's.
- Committed to providing a safe food product.
- Works within all regulatory requirements.
- Perform all other related duties as requested.
