Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Packaging Associate (D Shift: Thursday to Saturday, every other Wednesday from 5:45 pm to 6:00 am) is responsible for all functions in the cocoa packaging process while adhering to all GMP and HACCP operating procedures.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Desirable computer experience.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs unassisted.
  • Experience driving a forklift.
  • Able to multitask and work independently.
  • Team player with good communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified forklift operator.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors the automatic metal detector.
  • Manual recordkeeping of all Finished Goods leaving the production area.
  • Feeds Packing material to the packaging line.
  • Quality control of bag weight and bag sealing.
  • 1st level troubleshooting of bag weight and bag sealing.
  • Keep work area clean.
  • Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP's.
  • Committed to providing a safe food product.
  • Works within all regulatory requirements.
  • Perform all other related duties as requested.
