Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Color vision required.
  • Heavy lifting required.
  • Must be able to follow directions, work independently and function as a team member.
  • Must be able to report numbers accurately and work in a highly detailed environment with minimal errors.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of anatomy, processing methods, and sterile technique preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload tissue grafts from freeze dryer.
  • Maintain an orderly freezer inventory to ensure ease of access to all grafts. Use inventory tracking and scan checking software to ensure traceability and proper identification.
  • Prepare and receive tissue grafts for/from irradiation.
  • Print labels and label tissue grafts ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Inspect grafts for quality, packaging integrity, and accuracy of documentation.
  • Assist with preparation of contract shipments.
  • When applicable, copy all records for contract shipments an ensure completeness and accuracy.
  • Monitor freeze drier cycles to ensure optimal output.
  • Perform supportive document control functions including data entry and filing.
  • Receive and account for whole donors that have been released to manufacturing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
