Service Technicians drive to customer sites to pump, clean, and service portable restrooms. If you are familiar with non-CDL commercial motor vehicles, enjoy working with customers, and like to work independently, our Service Technician position is an excellent opportunity for you!

Requirements

Must have a current and valid driver's license
Clean driving record and pass the required DOT physical and drug screen
HS Diploma or equivalent
Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
Ability to shift, lift, and push 50-150 pounds throughout the day
Ability to use a hand truck to help maneuver portable toilet units
Detail-oriented and excellent customer service skills

Nice To Haves

One or more years in a service-related role with problem-solving skills is preferred

Responsibilities

Service and relocate portable toilets at various locations and job sites. Service includes evacuating the holding tank, recharging the receptacle, cleaning the interior, replenishing toilet paper and hand sanitizer, and performing minor repairs.
Maintain all paperwork, ensuring customer signatures are collected, and daily logs are complete and handed to the dispatcher.
Work with Operations to receive instructions and keep them informed of any safety issues.
Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water to ensure roadworthiness.
Complete thorough, accurate, and timely DVIRs pre- and post-trip
Report on any safety hazards, roadside incidents, and customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner
Perform emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs, fuses, tire chains, and spark plugs
