About The Position

The PACE Receptionist/Administrative Assistant will be responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for every person that enters the PACE building. TRU PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) coordinates and provides all needed preventive, primary, acute, and long-term care services so that older individuals can continue living safely in their community

Requirements

  • College degree preferred
  • 2 years of experience in a field such as Administrative Support, Customer Service, Receptionist, or similar required.
  • Good computer skills required including MS Word and Excel, and proficiency with patient emergency call systems preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of all office equipment.
  • Must comply with PACE health screening and immunization requirements including medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations.
  • Ability to convey a positive and professional image to staff, PACE participants and the general public.
  • Must successfully pass agency required background checks and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of health care delivery systems, regulations, quality assurance and medical and non-medical needs of the elderly preferred.
  • Experience working with medical professionals in a day-center environment preferred.
