P&C Producer NSM Insurance Brokers is one of the nation’s top commercial property and casualty insurance services firms, and the brokerage division of Novacore. We are looking to build our portfolio through adding both junior and seasoned producers to our Retail Division. Having strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of industry standards and regulations is a must! Ability to build trust with clients while also understanding how to navigate Novacore's niche products is needed to be successful. This role will be hybrid from our Conshohocken, PA Home Office

Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
5+ years of experience in sales preferred.
Prior experience within Insurance.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong sales skills and product knowledge.
Strong presentation skills.

Experience in defined niches preferred.

Responsibilities

Attract, retain, and grow! – Attract new prospects/customers, continually retain your existing book of business and continue to grow it year after year.
Overall client relationship management – Responsible for maintaining the client relationship at the highest level. Coordinate delivery of all risk management services. This includes renewals, claims reviews, and loss control meetings – The Insurance Brokers service team handles these tasks, the producer is responsible for coordinating the delivery.
Responsible for new business development by soliciting accounts that meet Novacore's revenue thresholds.
Demonstrate technical knowledge necessary to communicate solutions to all clients and prospects.
Collaborate with new business team to identify coverage or service deficiencies in a prospects policies and process.
Identify target niches and build a book of business around those specific industries – Become a subject matter expert in these niches. Join associations geared toward targeted industry and attend networking opportunities.
Focus time and efforts on driving new revenue. The Account Management Team will support the day-to-day servicing of accounts.
Build a business within a business by becoming an industry leader.
