About The Position

At Reliable Respiratory, we provide the highest quality Durable Medical Equipment, along with professional, understanding, and attentive service. We care about our customers, work closely with the medical community, and have highly skilled staff ready to assist customers in receiving the best airway management care possible for sleep apnea, asthma, and other pulmonary/respiratory conditions. Job Purpose The Oxygen Customer Service Coordinator is responsible for obtaining documentation to process orders for assigned referral accounts in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States and not require work authorization from us now or in the future
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience required
  • Effective and professional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient computer experience (especially Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Ability to work independently to investigate and make decisions
  • Ability to resolve issues independently
  • Ability to prioritize and complete work amidst interruptions in a busy work area
  • Ability to comply with guidelines both internal and industry-imposed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Great customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Communicate in a clear, professional and accurate manner always
  • Conduct self in a professional, courteous, respectful and friendly manner when interacting with coworkers, clients or vendors
  • Handle incoming oxygen related communications from customers and referrers in a timely, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Process and follow up on new ONO orders
  • Verify insurance online or by phone and documents coverage in Reliable Respiratory’s electronic health records
  • Obtain all necessary insurance authorizations
  • Stay logged into assigned Oxygen phone queue
  • Assist in miscellaneous oxygen tasks such as task follow up, device downloads, and device troubleshooting
  • Process new and recurring resupply orders via fax, phone, email in accordance with Reliable Respiratory’s processing procedures and guidelines
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned and directed
