San Francisco Community Health Center is a federally qualified health center that provides culturally competent high quality medical care, mental health services, education, and outreach. We are a safety-net for the LGBTQ community, the unsheltered community, people who use substances, and those with mental health needs. We are an anchor-organization for San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood, and we also lead regional, statewide, and national programming. We believe that everyone deserves access to the highest quality care served with dignity and respect! Taimon Booton Navigation Center (TBNC) is our shelter and service center for transgender, gender non-conforming & intersex people, as well as cisgender women, to find sanctuary, community, and a pathway to housing. Gender-supportive housing offers a crucial refuge, fostering belonging and safety. It is our hope that everyone who stays at TBNC leaves feeling safer, more supported, and on their way to stable housing. Under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and Director, Shelter Monitors are responsible for the operation and security of the shelter site and the supervision of the shelter guests. The shelter operates 7 days per week, 365 days a year, and staff work one of three shifts: Day shift; 630am-3pm swing shift; 230pm-11pm overnight- 1030pm-7am
