As a Overnight Security Professional - Patrol Driver in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a PATROL_UNARMED officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for staff, visitors, and patients. Your presence and attention will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and communication will support a positive experience for everyone on site. This is a driving post, so you will also be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid commercial driver's license is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual activities according to established protocols.
Support access control procedures and help to deter prohibited items from entering the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed.
