Our multi-site Housing programs serve young adults (18-25) utilizing a trauma informed, harm reduction approach to help youth attain life skills and self-sufficiency based on their individualized goals. The program aims to provide safety and shelter, while promoting the self determination of youth experiencing homelessness, including those who are unstably or unsafely housed– while considering their identity, past experiences, or system involvement. Our Youth Connected Program includes a foster family agency, school dormitory, and mental health services in coordination with government agencies and collaborative partners. The setting is a family-style school dormitory for foster youth, 7th-12th grade, with medical, behavioral, academic and /or mental health needs. The Overnight Supervisor is directly responsible for managing the nightly operations of the multisite Housing Programs and providing coverage as needed for the Youth Connected dormitory. Duties include the supervision and scheduling of a team of staff who work directly with the youth to ensure that every site has support and appropriate supervision of youth in the overnight hours, including but not limited to coverage of shifts based on program needs. This position works closely with the Overnight Supervisor in the Youth Connected program to create community, learning opportunities, and support for the overnight team. When considering this job opportunity, please be aware that the role may involve high stress levels due to mitigating participant crises and potential exposure to vicarious trauma. It is essential to prioritize self-care and seek appropriate support when needed.
