About The Position

We are seeking a reliable Floor Technician to support 3rd shift operations, with a primary focus on facility cleanliness and floor maintenance. This role operates industrial sweepers and supports general distribution center tasks such as pallet movement and basic production support.

Requirements

• A minimum of one year experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory, preferably in a distribution center or similar environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to safely operate pallet jacks, dollies, and other carts
• Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity
• Strong team player with good organizational and time-management skills
• Practical interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proven problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Operate ride-on floor sweepers throughout the facility
• Clean and maintain large warehouse floor areas
• Monitor equipment (including sweeper reservoirs) and report issues
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free
• Move efficiently throughout the facility during overnight operations
• Haul pallets and assist with material movement
• Operate forklifts and other equipment (training provided if needed)
• Assist with box making and basic production tasks
• Support inventory flow and staging of materials
• Place products in designated locations accurately and safely
