Job Summary Responsible for overseeing quality management systems, supervising QA (Quality Assurance) staff, conducting audits, and addressing quality issues with the production team to ensure products meet industry standards and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Experience provides solutions.
  • Ensures that work is performed consistently with company policies and procedures.
  • Leads a group or team of support, craft, or lower-level professional associates.
  • Usually located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors causing moderate physical discomfort, such as dust, fumes, or odors.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. in a physical environment
  • Ability to stand for period of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
  • Ability to make repetitive movements, such as bending or squatting.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • May require certification.
  • Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

  • Preferred Experience in Quality Management.
  • Strong knowledge of Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Proficient in using QA tools and equipment.
  • Proven customer service experience, including effective communication, problem-solving, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and maintains comprehensive quality systems for multiple operations, ensuring alignment with industry standards and company objectives.
  • Plans, conducts, and manages internal and external quality audits and inspections to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborates with production team to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of quality documentation, including policies and procedures, quality checks, and test results.
  • Prepares and presents regular reports on quality performance and improvement initiatives to senior management.
  • Addresses and works to resolve customer complaints and quality issues promptly.
  • Implements customer feedback to improve product quality and customer satisfaction.
