McKesson is currently seeking a Facility/Maintenance/Service Technician for its temperature-controlled Distribution Center in Jeffersonville, OH. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a company that touches virtually every aspect of healthcare. The ideal candidate will possess repair experience and knowledge of a broad range of complex facility systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform complex technical tasks. Professional communication with various groups, from upper management to front-line employees, and an aptitude for quickly learning conveyance systems are essential. The position encompasses a wide array of generalist tasks, including building maintenance, internal and external area repairs, and overseeing and assisting with the service and repair of conveyor systems and other Distribution Center equipment.

Requirements

  • Facility, maintenance or service technician experience, preferably in a warehouse environment
  • Troubleshooting and repair experience with a variety of different equipment used in a distribution center environment
  • Knowledge and safe usage of various types of equipment in maintenance/facility trade (hand tools, power tools, conveyors, forklifts, pressure gauges, voltmeters, etc.)
  • Basic knowledge/exposure to warehouse work environments
  • Basic knowledge/exposure to various trades (mechanical, electrical, millwright, HVAC, etc)
  • Knowledge of lock out/tag out and OHSHA
  • Work order experience
  • Ability to maintain certifications (if trained on Power Equipment)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating Power Equipment (willingness to learn will be trained)

Responsibilities

  • Perform building maintenance
  • Take care of repairs of internal/external areas
  • Oversee and assist with service and repairs of conveyor systems and other Distribution equipment
  • Assist with minor tasks such as picking up garbage on the floor to assisting to repair DC equipment
