Requirements

• Above average verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with employees at all levels (including customers, vendors and visitors
• Outgoing personality, comfortable on cold call
• Strong organizational skills
• Works well independently in a self-managed environment
• Knowledge of desktop computer programs, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in an automotive parts environment or relatable sales and customer service employment history

Nice To Haves

• Automotive experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Create and set planned weekly schedule
• Assist in growing Paddock Chevrolet’s wholesale business
• Call on existing customers and new prospects per the schedule/strategy created
• Generate leads for the service and parts departments that will lead to new accounts for these departments
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of current sales and sales targets
• Conduct sales transactions with adherence to store/company policies and procedures
• Complete all related reports accurately and on time
• Participate in training programs, learn about products, programs and customers
• Provide value added services (emergency parts delivery, pick up and drop off vehicles at service) helping to create loyalty to customers
• Assist other store team members as needed
