Requirements

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electrical distribution sales, preferably in the SD market.
Knowledge of the electrical wholesale market and technical knowledge of the materials electrical contractors buy
Ability to speak professionally and intelligently with all parties in the construction process.
Strong time management and organizational skills
Must be able to work effectively from home and on the field.

Responsibilities

Generate new business opportunities and identify new opportunities to increase sales and grow the client base.
Strong drive to succeed through new customer development and growing sales with new clients through selling electrical materials, gaining lighting and switchgear projects.
Spending time in the field prospecting sales, cold calling for new customers, and visiting customers to develop new relationships
Negotiating with vendors and customers and building bids for projects
Develop and maintain an effective time, territory, and project management system to ensure sales success
Manage pipeline and be accountable to achieving and exceeding their annual sales and profit goals.
Partner with new electrical contractors and develop new contractor relationships to continue to grow market sales.
Local travel throughout the San Diego Area
