OUTSIDE SALES REP REQUIREMENTS Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Proficiency with computers and online tools Strong math skills Ability to work flexible hours and weekends Ability to lift 40 pounds as well as safely operate, hook up, secure, and transport equipment Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of account management or equipment sales experience Bachelor's degree in a business or agriculture-related field If you have the right mindset and attitude, we're willing to train you to succeed! YOUR NEW ROLE As an Outside Sales Rep, you build lasting partnerships with industry clients and deliver cutting-edge agriculture solutions. You're the driving force behind our success, and you make our customers feel heard as you learn about their needs and recommend the appropriate products or services. Motivated to stay ahead of the curve, you keep informed about John Deere products, rival brands, equipment values, and financing options. You learn about common equipment uses and agricultural standards, helping our clients feel like they're in good hands. As you conduct field demonstrations, develop sales plans, maintain our displays, and collaborate with management, you take pride in being a critical part of our long-term growth and success. After successfully selling equipment, you help with the delivery, set-up, and start-up, as well as train operators on how to use it. Your future starts here – are you ready to make your mark?
