About The Position

We’ve partnered with a well-established residential glass organization that has been serving homeowners for over a decade. They are looking to bring on a driven, client-focused Outside Sales/Estimator who enjoys helping customers enhance their homes with high-quality glass solutions. This role is with a reputable, family-run glass contractor established by a second-generation glazier. They focus primarily on residential glass—frameless showers, custom mirrors, glass partitions, repairs—with occasional light commercial work. Quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction are at the core of their business. Position Overview: This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative sales environment. You’ll meet with homeowners, assess project needs, take accurate measurements, and guide them through product options. You’ll also estimate, order materials, and work closely with the installation team to ensure projects are executed seamlessly.

Requirements

  • Background in residential glass (shower doors, mirrors, replacements) or similar home-improvement sales.
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to take precise measurements and translate them into accurate quotes.
  • Comfortable presenting solutions, negotiating, and closing sales.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and driven to meet sales goals.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home visits to evaluate customer needs and provide recommendations.
  • Create detailed and competitive estimates for projects such as shower enclosures, mirrors, and glass replacements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on leads.
  • Interpret measurements, engineer glass/hardware orders, and ensure accuracy before installation.
  • Stay informed on new products, styles, and industry trends to better assist homeowners.
  • Collaborate with the field team to ensure project specifications are met.
