Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful commercial or applied HVAC sales experience.
  • In-depth expertise in commercial HVAC systems and familiarity with key manufacturers.
  • Proven consultative sales approach with the ability to navigate complex, matrixed environments.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Established network and reputation within the HVAC industry.
  • Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
  • Familiarity with construction industry practices and piping business.
  • Ability to travel occasionally to remote project locations – typically within the state of Arizona.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with engineers, contractors, architects, and building owners.
  • Drive revenue through strategic business development and account management.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from quoting through project completion.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend HVAC solutions.
  • Provide technical support across commercial HVAC systems.
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, and deliver product presentations.
  • Partner with engineering and internal teams to execute projects smoothly.
  • Support logistics, warranty coordination, and field service needs.
  • Ensure clear communication and handoff to operations teams.
  • Identify new opportunities and evaluate market potential.
  • Stay current on HVAC technologies and industry trends.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
