Responsible for identifying, qualifying, and providing value-added service to customers through industrial supply sales. Monitors industry trends, identifies emerging markets, and develops a comprehensive plan to capture additional market share. An ambassador of the company and a trusted face to our customers while adhering to company values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative in the industrial supply industry
  • Must have a clean driving record and vehicle to visit customer sites
  • Highly self-motivated and target-driven
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience/customer needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales plan in the local territory to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Sell industrial and maintenance supplies business to business
  • Conduct cold calls with manufacturing, maintenance, construction, and other industrial job sites
  • Maintain and grow the existing customer base through consultive sales
  • Other duties assigned by the regional manager to ensure local branch success
