Warehouse General (El Paso, TX)
About The Position
The Warehouse General position is primarily responsible for assisting warehouse personnel in order selecting, receiving, loading, and repacking activities. The position will primarily use a forklift or electric pallet jack to fulfill these duties. Operate all company equipment safely and in a manner consistent with company policy Ensure company equipment is in safe, working condition; reports any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to supervisor Ensure work area is organized, clean, and free of trash Project a friendly, professional image at all times Prioritize multiple, competing priorities Attend meetings as required
Requirements
- Prior forklift experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Able to coordinate multiple activities and follow through with commitments
- Good oral and written communication skills and participate well in a team environment
- Must be highly motivated and results oriented, with a strong attention to detail
- Must be organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be able to read and write English
- Must be 18 yrs. or older to apply
- Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs., stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear
- High school graduate or GED required
