Outreach & Communications Coordinator
About The Position
Position Overview: The Outreach & Communications Coordinator plays a key role in connecting the Wellness & Fitness Center (WFC) with members, partners, and the surrounding community. This position is responsible for promoting the WFC’s programs, services and engagement. The Outreach & Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing strategic communications and outreach initiatives that increase member engagement, drive program participation, and strengthen community partnerships. Utilizing the Mindbody platform, the Outreach & Communications Coordinator creates content and manages digital communications related to class schedules, promotions, events, and member engagement, ensuring accurate, timely, and consistent messaging across all channels.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Journalism, Digital Media or other related field
- Six (6) months of experience using email marketing platforms and social media tools
- Six (6) months of graphic design or content creation experience
Nice To Haves
- Experience in Marketing, Outreach, Communications, or Community Engagement
- Advanced knowledge of Constant Contact, HubSpot, Mail Chimp, and/or other CRM platforms for managing contacts and email communication initiatives
- Knowledge of META, TikTok, and YouTube, as well as the development, implementation, and optimization of social media advertising
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Publisher
