About The Position

As an Outpatient Therapist at High Plains Mental Health Center, you’ll provide individual, family, and group therapy to clients with a wide range of mental health needs. You’ll conduct intake assessments, develop treatment plans, and offer evidence-based support. Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy)
Current Kansas BSRB licensure as one of the following: o Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Master Level Psychologist, or Licensed Clinical Psychotherapist o Licensed Master Social Worker (clinical track) or Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker o Licensed Professional Counselor or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with Mental Health Training track (or equivalent experience) o Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist
Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets insurability requirements (if using Center vehicle)
Ability to pass all required background checks and pre-employment drug screening

Responsibilities

Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions throughout your day.
Conduct intake assessments.
Develop and implement person-centered treatment plans tailored to individual goals.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and community partners to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care.
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with agency standards.
Participate in regular clinical supervision to receive feedback and enhance your skills.
Attend team meetings to stay connected and contribute to shared client care strategies.
Maintain licensure and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
