About The Position
University of Minnesota Physicians (UMP) is seeking a .20 cFTE outpatient General Internist/Geriatrician to join a high-performing, collegial team of clinicians at Mill City Clinic, an award-winning practice in the heart of downtown Minneapolis, across from the Guthrie Theater. In this role, you will provide outpatient care to patients from 300+ ZIP codes, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, lived experiences, and healthcare needs, including many older adults and individuals connected to the arts, higher education, and international communities. You’ll also have the opportunity to help develop and shape a new geriatrics program within the University of Minnesota Physicians.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine
- Active MN license
- Completed internal medicine residency
- Completed geriatric fellowship
- Experience in geriatric care and an ongoing interest in providing high-quality care to older adult patients.
- 5+ years clinical experience
Nice To Haves
- Medical student teaching experience including curriculum development and evaluation, scholarly activities, and mentoring trainees
- Familiar with Epic EMR
- Passionate about quality improvement/quality assurance
