About The Position

Under the direction of the Asst. Manager, the server is responsible for serving both food and beverage to guests throughout the property ensuring a positive guest experience in the outlet.

Requirements

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and maintain physical stamina.
  • Proper mental attitude and ability to deal effectively with guests.
  • Physical ability to access all areas of the facility.
  • Withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 40 lbs without restriction.
  • Must be congenial and have neat, professional appearance with good personal hygiene.
  • Must be reliable and conscientious.
  • Possess the ability to interact (in English) with guests, co-workers and supervisory staff.
  • Must be accurate and detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Minimum of one (1) to two (2) years of high volume food service experience.
  • Ability to deliver a service level which creates an atmosphere that makes our guests want to return, giving each guest a positive, memorable entertainment experience.
  • Commitment to routinely go above and beyond in the accomplishment of position responsibilities in an effort to play a role in the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Must present an image of excitement, enthusiasm, and outgoing personality, while being able to project a professional appearance.
  • Must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Table service restaurant experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and serves guests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Take guest orders, serves food and drinks, and collects monies in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Adhere to cash handling procedures.
  • Adheres to food & beverage policies, procedures, state liquor laws, state food safety handler regulations and all related training material.
  • Knowledgeable of restaurant (ordering) systems; expediting systems.
  • Completes all set-up and closing duties in a timely fashion.
  • Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within area of responsibility.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Handles and solves any concerns and questions customers may have or relays guest complaints/compliments to the appropriate Manager on duty.
  • Promotes positive public/employee relations at all times.
  • Perform other assignments as directed.
