About The Position

The Outbound Sales Officer is responsible for contacting potential and existing members to promote Municipal Credit Union’s membership, products and services. This role is focused on driving new member acquisition, increasing products and services penetration, and ensuring a positive member experience. This outbound sales position is part of a team to meet and exceed production targets and support organizational goals through outbound communication efforts.

Requirements

High school diploma
Experience in outbound sales
Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Ability to handle rejection and remain resilient
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible schedule to include weekends and evenings
Ability to perform and meet expectations while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
Technologically proficient.

Responsibilities

Confidently articulate the features and benefits of membership, products, and services offered from MCU.
Understand the needs of members and offer the appropriate products to meet those needs, including identifying cross-selling opportunities
Commit to member satisfaction and service excellence while maintaining a professional friendly approach
Address member concerns, by resolving or following up on concerns to ensure a seamless member experience
Share member feedback with management to improve products and services
Achieve individual and team production/performance goals
Maintain accurate member records and notes
Actively participate in team meetings, training, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
Adhere to all regulatory requirements and MCU’s policies
Ensure compliance with privacy, data protection and financial regulations
Perform other related duties as requested and special projects as assigned
