ASRC Federal is seeking a ORION Electrical Manufacturing Engineer/Odd Work Week at Kennedy Space Center, FL. Role/Responsibilities: Plans and authors procedures for the Orion Spacecraft elements and provides floor support for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Performs various duties including creating and/or developing harness installation, and component integration, manufacturing work instructions. Determines the sequence of build, selecting or designing required tools, and solves production problems during the build of mechanical/electrical piece parts and assemblies. Assists in investigating design/manufacturing factors such as equipment or part availability, manufacturability, ease of assembly, and large assembly management. Develops and maintains all assembly documentation. Trouble shoot/correct anomalies and discrepant hardware. Performs producibility reviews on engineering designs/drawings to assess manufacturability, ease of assembly, and material availability. Routinely interfaces with program personnel and reports project status to leadership. Primarily support an odd work week schedule (Thursday - Sunday, 10hrs/day) during 1st shift operations.
