About The Position

Receive and process incoming orders for patient medications.. Duties include informing customers of receipt, prices, shipping dates, and delays.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer services.
  • Strong organizational skills, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing.
  • Able to provide and receive information effectively and professionally.
  • Knowledge of administrative and office procedures and systems
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Review orders for completeness according to reporting procedures and forward incomplete orders for further processing.
  • Contacts customers to obtain, verify, and update account information when necessary.
  • Answer phone calls from patients
  • Obtain customers' names, addresses, and billing information, product numbers, and specifications of items to be purchased, and enter this information on order forms.
  • Communicating with pharmacy on questions and order status
  • Other duties as assigned.
