About The Position

Position Purpose: Provides field level end-to-end support to the local THD stores across the region. Serving as the primary contact for understanding needs and exercising expertise in pricing decisions, ordering decisions, directing logistical support, and facilitating or managing product training. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for THD stores across the region market, exercising discretion and judgment in managing pricing decisions, order fulfillment strategies, and process improvements. Develop and manage job quotes in partnership with Regional Sales Managers and Territory Managers, ensuring competitive positioning and alignment with organizational standards. Collaborate with National Account Sales Specialists to resolve complex pricing and product availability issues, proactively identifying risks and opportunities to support business needs. Exercise ownership of end-to-end order management processes, ensuring accuracy in Agility and related systems, while developing best practices to improve efficiency and minimize risk. Allocate orders across branches using sound judgment to balance resources, mitigate disruptions, and optimize outcomes for both internal stakeholders and THD. Partner with Accounts Receivable and Sales Leadership to resolve escalated billing or purchase order issues, ensuring alignment with contractual and financial requirements. Provide consultative support to THD on order status, lead times, and product availability, anticipating needs and recommending solutions to strengthen the customer relationship. Lead the coordination of THD-related events, product training, and Builder Shows in collaboration with Sales and other business partners to drive market presence and customer engagement. Continuously evaluate processes to identify opportunities for improvement, championing solutions that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in account management or sales operations, preferably within the retail or home improvement industry.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, specifically experience with Agility for order entry.
  • Competence in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for data management and reporting.
  • Strong autonomous analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of delivering training and support to internal teams and coordinating with external partners.
  • Proven ability to exercise judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives within a high-paced environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to effectively handle inquiries and resolve issues from retail partners that requires strong and advance problem-solving capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support regional operations and training initiatives.
