About the role Basic Function: As Supervisor for Order Intake Team, you are responsible for overseeing the order intake process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with a strong understanding of order management systems and processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or related field
  • 2+ years Direct supervision experience.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use technology and analysis tools (Excel, Outlook, web, databases)
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Flexible, reliable, strong work ethic, dependable team player, positive, constructive attitude.
  • Outstanding business etiquette skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Experience with ERP/MFG environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the order intake team, ensuring optimal performance, productivity, and morale. This includes providing training and resolving issues or conflicts within the team.
  • Order Processing Oversight: Supervise the daily operations of the order intake process, ensuring that orders are entered accurately, efficiently, and in line with the company standard.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all orders are processed correctly, reviewing discrepancies and implementing solutions to minimize errors.
  • Customer Communications: Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams, handling escalations and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the order processes.
  • Report & Analytics: Monitor team performance metrics and KPI’s, preparing regular reports for upper management. This includes tracking orders volume, processing time, and error rates. (QDIP/Waterfall)
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce bottlenecks, and improve team performance through process changes or technology upgrades and training.
  • Cross-Department Collaborations: Work closely with sales, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure that orders are accurately fulfilled, and any issues are resolved swiftly.
