Inside the Role Support all operational aspects of the department to ensure Daimler Truck Remarketing achieves and maintains its position as a World Class Used Truck Business. This role is dealer/customer facing and will include delivering operational excellence in execution of job responsibilities. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (with a focus in Business Administration or similar field) and 2-4 years of relevant experience, OR 6 years of experience in lieu of a degree, is required.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems of moderate complexity.
  • Skilled in creating and presenting KPI reports to executive management.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office tools (namely Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • An attached resume is required.

  • Intermediate level skills in data analytics and experience using self-service business intelligence reporting tools, such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Administer the acquisition of used vehicles from trade notification to payment release, serving as the key contact to Daimler Truck North America’s largest fleet customers and dealer network: providing training and coordinative support as needed to effectively facilitate trades.
  • Review trade contracts at time of vehicle turn-in notification, ensuring vehicle is in compliance with trade terms and the acquisition process is executed in accordance with the contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Daimler Truck Remarketing teams to ensure the acquisition, inspections and logistics processes are seamless and accurate.
  • Work in close collaboration with Daimler Truck Financial Services to reconcile outstanding residual commitments.
  • Develop and analyze Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for internal and external executive stakeholders, supporting a cultural focus on continuous improvement.
  • Execute regular operational audits to ensure effective controls are in place and maintained in compliance with corporate policies.
  • As needed, work with the Sales Support team to process requests from secondary market customers for truck purchases, bailments, and sales program credits.
  • As needed, support the Inspection Manager/Sales Term team to process specific dealer requests related to coverages, vehicle registrations, and claims.
