The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for performing general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment. This Omni Experience Ambassador will be working within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC, Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club. Team Members are expected to carry out job functions and responsibilities as assigned, support the application of club policies, procedures and compliance, strive for flawless execution and hold themselves accountable. They must act with honesty and integrity and lead with the member in mind to address all concerns and to escalate any concerns, as appropriate. Club Standards involve working as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, working with commitment and pride to deliver a Grand opening look daily, maintaining a clean and organized environment inside the OMNI Space, with bin storage to organize members' orders based on gold standards, and regularly cleaning and maintaining storage bins based on safety standards. Associates should also know their business by understanding how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for their department and seeing the connection between consistent execution and the positive impact it can have on the business.

Requirements

  • Required to meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA’s), performance metrics and goals.
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of this job.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous order pulling experience preferred.
  • Big box/wholesale retail experience preferred.
  • Previous RF scanner experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general warehouse activities including pulling merchandise from a pick list, moving merchandise from sales floor to staging area, using handheld scanner to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations, and operating equipment.
  • Work within all digital initiatives including: BOPIC (Buy Online Pick Up In Club), Curbside, Express Pay and Ship from Club.

  • Work as a team to deliver GOLD club standards daily, maintaining a grand opening look, and ensuring a clean and organized environment within the OMNI Space, including bin storage and regular cleaning based on safety standards.
  • Understand how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department and recognize the connection between consistent execution and positive business impact.
  • Process member purchases in a fast, courteous, and friendly manner by pulling merchandise from a pick list.
  • Utilize a handheld scanner device (RF) to pick orders from the sales floor and verify merchandise.
  • Communicate problems with inventory and/or equipment, and report expired or short-dated items on pick lists.
  • Communicate with the club team for merchandise replenishment and work to pull merchandise from the reserve area when possible.
  • Ensure all orders are picked in a timely manner to meet productivity requirements and deadlines, including key performance indicators.
  • Follow operational efficiencies, processes, and productivity standards with adherence to established SOP for BOPIC, Curbside, and Ship from Club.
  • Take responsibility for individual performance and collaborate with club leadership when metrics are not met.
  • Securely package orders in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure the Ship From Club (SFC) area is neat, clean, and organized.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties, including removing trash and cardboard from the work area.
  • Handle damaged goods and spoiled products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
  • Process returns to the club and determine appropriate handling (via DDR or Membership desk).
  • Maintain all club policies and procedures, including adhering to proper dress code standards.
  • Meet OMNI productivity expectations regarding service level agreements (SLA’s), performance metrics, and goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
  • Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
