About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Order Entry Specialist to support a high-volume order management and customer operations team. This role is heavily focused on accurate order entry, ERP and CRM system navigation, and professional email-based customer support. The ideal candidate is reliable, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This position is open due to internal promotions and offers strong long-term growth potential for candidates who demonstrate accountability, attention to detail, and a strong customer-first mindset.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a non-scripted, performance-based environment
  • Hands-on order entry experience using an ERP system
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Word
  • Excellent written communication skills with an emphasis on professional email support
  • General computer and system navigation skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and remain accountable in an onsite setting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics
  • Order claims or exception management experience
  • Inbound phone support experience (50+ calls/day)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with inventory lookup and availability tools

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter customer orders and service requests into ERP and CRM systems
  • Manage a high volume of customer emails (50–100+ per day) with professionalism and urgency
  • Respond to customer inquiries related to order status, shipping, product availability, and pricing
  • Research and resolve order discrepancies using internal systems and documentation
  • Create and manage cases for customer issues and order exceptions
  • Coordinate across internal functional teams (logistics, supply chain, sales support) to resolve customer needs
  • Provide proactive communication and transparency throughout the order fulfillment process
  • Deliver a consistent, frictionless customer experience across multiple communication channels
  • Handle both internal and external inquiries while applying strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
