This position is responsible for entering customer orders into the Company’s system with a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and detail.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of alpha numeric data entry experience is required.
  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • SAP or other ERP experience required.
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Ability to type fast and accurately.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in data entry
  • Good customer relations skills
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Meticulous attention to detail; commitment to producing quality product.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work well under stress.
  • Works well in a team environment
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry of information to maintain database through SAP.
  • Enter, revise, and verify accuracy of data input into the database.
  • Create data directories/sub directions for file and report generation retrieval purposes.
  • Maintain paper and/or computerized file of entered data.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks related to files as necessary.
  • Interact with departmental, other staff and clients on matters affecting data.
  • Review discrepancies in data received requests clarification or advises Manager of issue related to data and performs data verification routines in accordance with company standards.
  • Make recommendations for improvement to job processes to ensure standards in data entry, collections, and retrieval.
  • Accomplish all tasks assigned or requested.
  • Works effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Exhibits and adheres to the established Visual Comfort Company Values.
  • Must demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule. While being present in the workplace to effectively collaborate and communicate amongst co-workers and teams.
