Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience in order entry, data input, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using order management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to identify discrepancies quickly.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with software or ERP systems related to order processing is preferred.
  • Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and customer service principles is an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately enter customer orders into the order management system in a timely manner.
  • Verify order details including pricing, quantities, and customer information to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with sales representatives and customer service to resolve discrepancies or incomplete orders.
  • Maintain organized records of orders and related documentation for easy retrieval and audit purposes.
  • Monitor order status and communicate updates to relevant departments as needed.
  • Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance order entry accuracy and efficiency.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain data confidentiality and compliance.
