About The Position

Hickman’s Family Farms is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Order Entry Coordinator to support our fast-paced egg production and distribution business. This role is responsible for the accurate entry, verification, and management of customer orders within our ERP system, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and aligned with production, inventory availability, and delivery schedules. The Order Entry Coordinator will work closely with sales, logistics, and production teams to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain excellent customer service standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in order entry, customer service, or sales support.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience working with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced food production or distribution environment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in food manufacturing, agriculture, or distribution industries.
• Familiarity with case, pallet, and pack style ordering systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders into the company ERP system.
• Verify order details including pack style, quantities, pricing, delivery date, and customer specifications.
• Coordinate with sales, logistics, and production teams to confirm order fulfillment.
• Monitor order changes, cancellations, and updates in real time.
• Communicate order confirmations and resolve discrepancies with internal teams and customers.
• Maintain organized records of all orders and related documentation.
• Support daily order management to ensure timely shipping and delivery.
• Assist with reporting, order tracking, and inventory alignment when needed.
