About The Position

The Order Entry/Sales Assistant role is responsible for placing orders for various national retailers, ensuring product delivery is timely and pricing is accurate. WFI is a drug-free workplace.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • 1-3 years related experience
  • Proficiency using computers - specifically proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good verbal and communication skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Ability to prioritize projects and manage time efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Data/order entry - Entering customer information, order specifications, product item numbers, and selling prices.
  • Processing change orders, working with the Sales team.
  • Specialty orders, international orders/shipments, coordinating with the Expeditor to ensure shipping details are concise.
  • New account set up, communication with the accounting department to set up new customers with purchasing terms.
  • Update and maintain customer data.
  • General front office work, coordinating with other team members to relieve receptionist as needed.
  • Order processing, distributing applicable files/forms to the necessary departments.
  • Ensure that production and delivery meet specific customer needs and information is passed on to appropriate departments.
