About The Position

The Unified Financial Systems (“UFS”) Oracle Testing Lead is responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end testing strategy for our Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations. This role ensures quality and reliability across modules such as Finance, Procurement, PPM and EPM by managing structured testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression) and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years in QA/Test Lead roles, preferably in Oracle Fusion Cloud implementations.
  • Deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (ERP, HCM, SCM, EPM).
  • Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools (Jira, HP ALM, Zephyr), and enterprise systems.
  • Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Tosca, Oracle Test Framework).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • ISTQB or equivalent testing certification; PMP preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Oracle quarterly patch testing and regression automation.
  • Familiarity with middleware and integration platforms.
  • Exposure to Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a comprehensive test strategy aligned with program phases and business goals.
  • Define test scope, scenarios, and acceptance criteria in collaboration with PMO, functional leads, and solution architects.
  • Ensure test environments are properly configured and refreshed for each cycle.
  • Oversee creation, review, and approval of test cases ensuring traceability from requirements to defect resolution.
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of all testing activities for Oracle implementations, including Unit Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), Functional and Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Manage defect triage meetings, root cause analysis, and resolution tracking using tools like Jira or HP ALM.
  • Mentor and guide testers throughout planning and execution phases.
  • Coordinate with data conversion and integration teams to validate end-to-end flows.
  • Deliver dashboards and readouts on test execution, defect trends, and coverage.
  • Communicate go/no-go risks and readiness status to stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to testing best practices, including automation where applicable.
  • Validate security and compliance requirements during SIT and UAT phases.
