Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the optical industry.
  • Familiarity with various vision plans, including Eyemed, Spectera, Davis Vision, and VSP.
  • Availability to work full-time, including Saturdays and some evenings.
  • Consistently excellent attendance record and always punctual to work.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • A willingness to assist in various tasks that promote office efficiency and the growth of the practice.

Responsibilities

  • Selling premium quality glasses and contact lenses.
  • Fitting, adjusting, and dispensing eyewear.
  • Familiarizing with optical inventory to make appropriate product selections for patients.
  • Operating in-house optical equipment for edging lenses (training provided as necessary).
  • Managing phone inquiries, patient scheduling, and general questions.
  • Verifying insurance and interpreting benefits from a variety of vision and medical plans.
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the practice.
  • Showing enthusiasm for contributing to practice promotion and growth.
