About The Position

This position reports to the Nursing Home Administrator and provides professional administrative support, specific to human resource functions within a state veteran nursing home. Communicate with others to obtain and verify information Follow written and verbal directions and instructions Maintain a positive approach and strong work ethic Problem solving and effective decision making Work independently, exercise judgment with self-discipline, and take appropriate initiative Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

  • Must be willing and able to work weekends and holidays as needed
  • Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work independently
  • Successful completion of the due diligence process to include, but not limited to, a Level II background check and drug test

Nice To Haves

  • Administrative and/or clerical experience working in an office environment
  • Experience creating documents, maintaining files, and keeping records
  • Experience in human resources and/or working with confidential employee information and/or data
