About The Position

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a OPEX Supervisor. In this role, you will drive OPEX initiatives in the recently acquired Fibrebond business. This is a high visibility role that will drive continuous improvement activities at the rapidly expanding Minden, LA facility. In addition, this role will own the execution of critical CAPEX and expansion projects to facilitate growth. Relocation assistance is available to candidates currently residing in the US. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Three (3) years of manufacturing operations or continuous improvement experience.
  • One (1) year of experience managing people and/or leading project teams.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in communication skills (written, verbal, computer) required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic manufacturing tools such as Lean, Six-Sigma, problem solving/decision making.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to support customer and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ability to influence and lead all levels of leadership.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or similar technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Proficiency with components of Eaton Lean Six Sigma, EBS, EHS, ProLaunch, and Benchmark.
  • Six Sigma Certified (Green Belt, Black Belt).

Responsibilities

  • Own CAPEX projects to facilitate business growth
  • Utilize Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.
  • Educate team on OPEX and CI initiatives and best practices
  • Coach, mentor and develop cross functional peers in CI tools
  • Provide regular ELSS/CI status updates to the senior leadership team.
  • Drive CI projects to facilitate efficiency and growth
  • Encourage the Eaton Continuous Improvement Culture
